Dr. Jaewon Chang is an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He is proud to provide high-level care to patients in the Southern Tier. He has special interests in cutting edge surgery for shoulders, sports medicine, joint replacement, and general orthopedics.
Upon earning his medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Chang completed his residency at LECOM Health Millcreek Community Hospital where he was named Chief Resident. During his residency, Dr. Chang trained to perform robotic joint replacements. He completed his fellowship in sports medicine at William Beaumont Hospital, and expanded his skillset in advanced knee arthroscopy, shoulder replacements, and shoulder arthroscopy.
During his clinical years, Dr. Chang was fortunate enough to train under the mentorship of several former and current orthopedic surgeons at Arnot. He was honored to be offered a position to join the fantastic team at Arnot Health.
Dr. Change grew up in the suburbs of Albany, NY. He met his wife, Dr. Conway, in medical school. They are happy to be working and raising their two children in such a wonderful community.
